In North Carolina, the In-Person Registration Deadline is 25 days before Election Day.
If you miss the voter registration deadline, you can still register to vote in-person during the Early Voting period through same-day registration.
North Carolina does not offer same-day registration on Election Day.
If you have residence in Jackson County and would like to vote here although you are not currently in Jackson County due to military service, school/university, or a variety of other reasons, you can vote through mail with an Absentee Ballot.
